i2unifi hosts your UniFi Network controller in the cloud. You manage sites, WiFi, VLANs, and devices through a browser or the UniFi mobile app — while your gateways, switches, and access points stay on your premises.

Your WiFi data does not tunnel through i2unifi — only management traffic between your devices and the controller uses the internet.
