Adoption & management (typical — verify for your UniFi version)
Devices must reach your controller URL and core services. Common requirements:
| Port / Protocol | Direction | Purpose (typical) |
|---|---|---|
| TCP 8080 | Device → Controller | Inform / management (legacy path) |
| TCP 8443 | Admin → Controller | HTTPS UI (hosted i2unifi URL) |

| UDP 3478 | Device ↔ STUN | NAT traversal helper |
| TCP/UDP 53 | DNS | Resolve controller hostname |
Important: Hosted i2unifi may use specific hostnames and TLS — use the URL from your Servers page. Do not block outbound HTTPS from devices to the internet.
